Try Elizabeth's delicious and healthy turkey chili - perfect for fall!

The Perfect Fall Recipe
Healthy Turkey Chili


Ingredients
1 Package of white mushrooms
1 lb of 93% lean ground turkey
1 Can on black bean
1 Can of pinto or kidney beans
1 Large can of diced tomatoes
1 Can of tomato sauce ( I used marinara and turned out great)
1 Green pepper
1 Bunch of cilantro
1 Avacado
1 Onion
1 jalapeno
Sour cream/ plain greek yogourt
Spices (chili powder, garlic, salt, pepper, oregano, cumin)
Chicken broth


Steps
1. Dice Vegetables (mushrooms, onion and pepper)
2. Saute mushrooms, onions and pepper
3. Add ground turkey and mix in with vegetables
4. (I added chicken broth to help the meat cook)
5. Rinse all canned food
6. Combine into pot
7. Add all spices and mix well
8. Add in desired amount of tomato sauce depending on how thick you want the chili to be
9. Bring chili to a boil and then reduce to simmer for 30 minutes- hour.
10. Dress chili to your liking (I put rice, sour cream, cilantro and avocado)

and ENJOY!!
